Eldritch

2018 to 2026Washington State

Eldritch was a live-action roleplaying campaign run by Eldritch Workshop from 2018 to 2026. This site keeps the chronicle of the ten events that followed its 2021 reset, along with one protectorate of its world and its combat rules.

Two cloaked figures stand close together beside a misty lake at sunrise, with long shadows across the frosted grass.

The Story

The Kingdom of Arnesse lay at the far edge of the known world, worn down by centuries of war. Nine great houses contended for it, and the ninth was the Twilight Empire of Tian Zhou.

In the year 763, a fog covered the realm for a night and a day. When it lifted, a new land called the Annwyn lay beyond the western coast. Condemned prisoners were sent into the mists on the Last Walk, and the King's expedition followed to claim the land.

Players took the roles of the settlers who came next and made their home in Mystvale. Over ten events they faced witches, the risen dead, a war for the crown, and at last the armies of Oblivion.

Annwyn is pronounced "a-noon." Arnesse is pronounced "are-ness."

The World

The Dusklands page covers the protectorate of House Richter, its high houses, and its part in the war for the Annwyn.

The Chronicle

All ten events appear here in order, from the second expedition at Tamris to the siege of the Nest.
